ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE
May 27 1902
Report on Ordinance No. 7 of 1902.
2
245
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled
An Ordinance to amend the scope of The Tramways Ordinance,
1883, (No. 6 of 1883), and the Tramways Ordinance Amendment Ordinance, 1883, (No. 18 of 1883).
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to
the Governor's Instructions.
This Ordinance is only to clear the way for Ordinance
No. 10 of 1902 by repealing previous Tramway Ordinances, saving however the rights reserved in Ordinance 8 of 1883, section 5 with reference to Tramway No. 6.
This Ordinance has already been practically approved at
home.
Alfred Win
Acting Attorney General.
